Iowa Trip, June 2014

My parents have a neighbor who is a professor of reptiles and breeds them in his home. We stopped by and the kids weren't afraid at all holding snakes and lizards!

Lillia wasn't too fond of getting close!!
Adam's face here is hilarious! It looks like he might be grossed out, but it's actually pure excitement!

We had the missionaries over one night since my kids never get that experience living in Utah. We had a cookout in the back yard and played volleyball. Hazel was very taken by the missionary standing to the left of her in the first pic. She even asked him to marry her about an hour after they met! I've got to watch out for that girl!!

Amanda and Lydia

Sorry for the nakedness in this one, but it's just so cute!! Hazel and Lillia gettin their hair done in the tub!

Eating out before going to see Wolverine 2

Hazel got to sit on the birthday saddle and a free bowl of icecream!
Lydia was thrilled Lillia would sit on her lap!

The two we've prayed many days for this last year!

Outside the restaurant: Tammy, Lillia, Amanda, Liesl, Jenna, & Adam as the photo bomber!

At the Children's Museum

Putting on a skit for us at the Children's Museum

Slip N Slide fun at Grammy Jane and Grandpa Tim's back yard!

Hazel's 5th birthday celebration in Iowa!
Her Candy Cake she requested. It was the funnest cake by far to make!

So good to see Dad smiling and laughing!

Lydia, Aunt Stephy, Hazel

Aunt Jenna gave Hazel some beautiful makeup for her gift! Yay! There's a little sarcasm in there! Hehe!

The party's getting a little wild now! I don't even know what to say except, "Mary, Mary, Mary!"

I think Dad looks good in Pink!!

Our friends the Hansen's stopped by! They just returned from a mission in Japan!

Mary - Prom

So cute together! They had lots of fun with their group of friends from school before prom too! In the second pic, David is trying to help Hazel photo bomb the picture.

Lydia running on crutches

Also, here is my footage of Lydia at the walk a thon. I didn't get the first big cheer all the kids did for her because I wasn't expecting it. Also, I love the second one where all the cheerleaders are surrounding her.

Lydia with our awesome neighbor, Larry McLay, who adores her to death, and took her and his granddaughters out to eat the other day to Olive Garden. She said he had her laughing the whole time!

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Here are some pictures and videos from Seven Brides for Seven Brothers the girls were in. It was so fun to watch! These are the only two clips that would load on the site. The others are too big of files, so we'll have to show it to you next time you visit! ;)
